Here we celebrate a total of 96 years and the stories behind them.

Haddonstone, supplier of quality cast stone to the architectural, construction and garden industries, will celebrate 55 years in industry in 2026.  While the company continues to grow and welcomes new staff, here, the most established team members explain why Haddonstone is a great place to work.

Tim Baines - Building and Construction Manager

Tim joined Haddonstone in 1997, as an assistant estimator/CAD technician, bringing his previous skills and experience in construction fixings to his role. He has worked his way through roles as senior estimator, project manager and is now Haddonstone’s Building and Construction Manager. Seeing a large prestigious project evolve from the ‘drawing board’ to the finished article is at the heart of his role.

Toby Marlow - Building and Construction Director

Toby Marlow has also been with Haddonstone for 28 years. Having worked as a building contractor in Market Harborough, he was well placed to hone his estimating skills when he moved to Haddonstone.  His progress has been varied and impressive - Assistant Estimator, Estimator, West Coast Operations Manager (Haddonstone (USA) Southern California), Architectural Sales, Technical Manager, Architectural Sales Manager, Architectural Sales Director and Building & Construction Director. Toby is adept at managing the diversity of projects and had stayed with the company due to the three Ps - The People, The Place and The Product.

Frank Manning - Senior Project Manager

The third “28 year” star is Frank Manning who joined Haddonstone after working in a design office for a conveyor company. He started as an export estimator, moved to transport scheduler; and progressed to Project Manager where he builds long term relationships with customers and help to bring projects to life.

Callum Jensen - Senior Commercial Manager

With Haddonstone since 2013, when he deferred a place at university, Callum has not looked back.  His original role as trainee draughtsman involved learning CAD drawing as part of an apprenticeship and writing new technical details for Haddonstone literature (installation guides and technical sheets). The skills he would have gained with a mechanical engineering degree were learned on the job!

He has held many roles across most departments on different projects - Trainee Draughtsman, Sales Estimator, Project Manager, Key Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Export Manager and Senior Commercial Manager. From new sales strategies and market research to implementation of new computer systems to ensuring that the team is fully supported, Callum is involved in a lot of projects and roles.
