Since seeing the first reflection of themselves in still water, people have been making mirrors for thousands of years. In 6000 BC they were made from obsidian, a naturally occurring volcanic glass, by 2900 BC ancient Egyptians were making them from polished bronze. Mirrors have been used in spiritual and ceremonial contexts warding off evil spirits or communing with the gods.

It was an object of status until the industrial revolution when mirrors became available and affordable. Mirrors are now quite literally part of the furniture, they are used in interior design to expand spaces and enhance lighting and for personal grooming especially in the bathroom and KEUCO have one to suit all needs.

Elegantly minimalist, the rectangular illuminated Royal Lumos Mirror is the brightest in KEUCO’s range with an all-round light rim. The three-sided LED lighting of the translucent frame gives the mirror a floating appearance.
