Virgin Money Office Specifies Style Group Acoustic Solution

Working alongside MPACT and Form Design Consultants, Style Group has delivered a high-performance acoustic solution as part of a large-scale office fit-out of Virgin Money’s Glasgow workplace. Designed to improve speech clarity and reduce reverberation in meeting rooms, focus spaces and collaborative zones, Style installed Autex panels across the 11th and 12th floors, combining strong acoustic absorption with distinctive branded aesthetics.

Autex Cube™ panels were strategically positioned behind display screens and presentation areas to control echo and background noise, while customised Autex Groove™ panels feature a Virgin-inspired pattern, creating full-height feature walls that integrate acoustic performance with bold workplace design. Following a recent rebrand, Style Group is expanding beyond movable partitioning systems to include acoustic solutions, creating environments that support collaboration, concentration and everyday workplace performance.

Both Autex systems utilise 24mm thick polyester fibre (PET) construction, offering excellent sound absorption performance while remaining lightweight, durable and sustainable. The Autex Cube™ panels support a wide range of room sizes, from small meeting pods to large boardrooms, ensuring consistent acoustic performance throughout. Each panel is precisely positioned to reduce sound reflection and improve communication.

The custom-routed Autex Groove™ panels were developed to create feature walls that align with Virgin Money’s brand identity. Introducing depth and visual interest while maintaining high acoustic absorption values the panels are installed at full height in key areas such as arrival spaces and collaboration zones, effectively managing sound in high-traffic environments.
