Spacemann’s Workspaces Inspire Growing Biotech Team

Leading brand in innovative pods, booths and office screen systems for modern, flexible work environments Spacemann, along with dealer Tsunami Axis, has completed a workspace project for a biotech company in Cambridge. The objective was to create functional, adaptable, acoustically balanced environments within a compact footprint, without compromising on visual cohesion.

As the client’s operation expanded, the workspace needed to support a variety of working requirements - from private calls to small team collaboration. A selection of pods from Spacemann’s Silence Range, including a Solo phone booth alongside two Team S pods, was introduced to meet these needs. This combination allows individuals and teams to transition seamlessly between focused and collaborative work throughout the day.

The specification included both Cloud and View configurations, offering a balance between enclosure and openness. A bespoke frosted glass manifestation was applied to enhance privacy while maintaining a light, airy feel across the space.

The pods were finished with white laminate exteriors, complemented by beige carpet and Camira fabric internally. This carefully curated palette enhances natural light and creates a calm, welcoming atmosphere. This is particularly effective within a busy, high-performance environment.
