Königstone’s KönigZero innovative zero‑silica surface collection offers UK kitchen retailers a high‑performance alternative to traditional quartz while responding to evolving health, safety and regulatory concerns.  The new Imperial Viola is a refined, marble‑inspired surface which is characterised by a bright, clean white base layered with an expressive network of veining. Fine charcoal and soft grey lines move organically across the surface, with subtle warm beige undertones that add depth and a natural, stone‑like complexity.

Modern kitchen with maroon cabinets, marble countertops, and wooden floor. Island with stools, pendant lights, and large windows.

Imperial Viola works equally well in both contemporary and classic kitchens and is available in 20mm and 30mm thicknesses, along with jumbo slabs to provide flexibility across standard kitchens and large‑scale islands.

KönigZero has been developed using a new formulation of natural minerals that removes crystalline silica from the composition. As scrutiny around Respirable Crystalline Silica (RCS) continues this surface offers a proactive solution that eliminates the primary cause of concern at source.

Cases of silicosis among stonemasons accelerated the demand for safer material choices. While responsible fabricators have long implemented strict controls, the industry has been seeking materials that reduce risk at source. KönigZero eliminates the primary cause of concern while maintaining the performance standards expected by UK kitchen retailers and homeowners.
