A community-led charity has recently refreshed the entrance and hallway of their community hub, thanks to Bradite’s most popular coating, One Can. This all-in-one primer, stain block and professional finish was tinted in two bold shades from the NCS colour range to create a joyful and welcoming first impression.

Originally built in 1889 to serve the community’s needs, The Gregson Community and Arts Centre in Lancaster is committed to carrying on this legacy through their café bar and varied community and cultural events. Having now become busier than ever, the historic building requires ongoing redevelopment to keep up with the important work they do.
Bradite was delighted to supply the paint for their entrance and hallway redecoration. The transformation itself was brought to life by a skilled professional decorator and a dedicated team of volunteers from The Gregson Centre, who collectively contributed 165 hours to complete the renovations.

“We’ve been incredibly impressed with One Can, both in terms of quality and impact,” says Charles Tyrer, Chief Executive Officer. “The paint was easy to apply, provided excellent coverage and has completely transformed our space.”
Designed to simplify the decorating process, One Can is a single-pack, water-based coating that can be applied by spray, brush or roller to transform multiple interior and exterior surfaces, without the need for a separate primer. Along with its fast-drying times, One Can provides a long-lasting and professional finish that stands up to everyday wear and tear, making it the ideal coating for high-traffic spaces like this, where durability is essential.

Charles concludes, “What was once a tired and worn environment is now bright, welcoming and something our whole community can feel proud of.” He continues, “The refurbishment has made a genuine difference to the people who use our centre every day.”
